## How to read these records

### The record

Denver's Department of Excise and Licenses licenses restaurants, liquor, cannabis, security, short-term and residential rentals and many trades. It publishes the active licenses.

### Status

License issued — active. The file gives no address. Individuals — many rental licensees are — are left out.

### What is not here

Individuals, and any name without a company word (Inc, LLC, Corp, Co…). Owner and contact names, phone numbers
and mailing addresses, which this site never downloads.
